Lesson Planning
At A&D Stars, our lesson plans are generally based on a theme, include domain-based activities reflective of children’s interests and skills, and address the growth and developmental needs of each and every child. Goals for individual children are defined throughout the year. The teachers begin by observing and assessing each child’s development and then include targets and activities for the individuals in their lesson plans. Teachers also ask for the children’s input in the selection of themes and activities and build on their interests in planning classroom activities.
